2006 Bell Sprint: A Review

Bell stakes its claim on the motorcycle helmet market with its newest release, the 2006 Sprint.  Constructed with an eye-catching frame and various unique designs, the Sprint is a full-face helmet put out to ensure reliable protection and comfort without the sacrifice of style. 

The Sprint offers features such as (1) a lightweight, composite fiberglass shell; (2) a chin ventilation system as well as an adjustable flow-through forehead and rear ventilation, both of which ensure exceptional cooling and anti-fogging; (3) a removable plush liner and a wear-proof comfort liner; (4) a padded chin strap with D-ring retention system; and (5) a quick-release shiel removal system.

Boasting with a multiple array of designs (Multi, Solid, and Wicked), and coming in at 1600 grams (3 lbs) this new release enters 2006 with as big a bang as anyone would expect from Bell.  And at a very reasonable price, it draws attention as a helmet that provides reliable security to the rider as well as the wallet.

Pros:  reasonable price, eye-catching designs, comfortable padding and lining

Cons:  very noisy
