HJC AC-3 – Product Evaluation

HJC once again offers us great value with this high quality helmet. The very stylish and lightweight AC-3 is constructed from fiberglass and Dyneema® Kevlar® shell, providing superior strength for impact resistance. The interior Nylex® lining and cheek pads provide a very comfortable snug fit. Just make sure to pick your right size. The ventilation system provides excellent air flow, making it the perfect helmet for cruising in warmer climates.

The helmet’s design and aesthetics clearly spells attitude, this goes especially for the “matte black” one! Depending on your mood, you can either use it with the visor or the face shield on.

By the way, it’s Snell and DOT approved, but you already know that.

Pros: Lightweight. Very comfortable. Stylish design and finish.  Excellent ventilation system. Optional removable face shield. The interior is removable and easy to wash. Great quality and price.

Cons: Gets real noisy at higher speeds (especially with the face shield on), so you better have those earplugs handy. Shield/visor a bit difficult to change.
